Quick note on Pining for You…
This was my view in one of the coffee shops this past Friday. I love the Alice in Wonderland theme, and there’s some really great privacy in this side room. I've also discovered Hill Rd. It's where my future house might be. The half-mile walk down is easy. The walk back is intense and difficult and I LOVE IT. Some of you know I'm a fitness nut and I never shy away from a challenge. it was definitely a work out. The burn was real and had me smiling the whole time. I'm so weird. LOL I know.
I’m in the second draft/editing stage. I’ve received notes from my agent and I’m working in some really fun stuff on this second go around. More conflict is needed. It’s time to add a villain to the story. Let me tell you, this is going to really pack a punch and wreak havoc on my main characters. Everyone is going to be frustrated. For those of you that have read my young adult books, you know I love to create a good villain story. Get ready…
I also wanted to update that I’m still in love with Jim Thorpe. I see a move in my future. I write there on Fridays and I’m making friends. It’s my kind of town and every single time I see those mountains when I’m driving from the Lehigh Valley, my heart lightens. I have yet to explore the hiking trails in the area, but it’s on my to-do list. I might need it to be a little warmer. I’m still obsessed with the train but have been staying focused on edits and not indulging. Besides, my favorite conductor is on a three-week trip overseas. I hope he’s having an amazing time. He deserves it. As for me, I’m going to keep my introverted head down in the coffee shops and library while I create some pain and suffering for my main characters.
More soon…
